Walk Oxford powered by UHY Ross Brooke Chartered Accountants
Thanks to UHY Ross Brooke Chartered Accountants, Walk Oxford is coming back bigger and better for 2024. There will be three routes, approximately 10, 17 & 23 miles taking in historic Oxford and the Oxfordshire countryside.
The Walk Oxford short route heads south, following the river in the main, as far as Sandford-on-Thames. The medium route completes the 10 mile loop of the short route and then continues north along the river as far as Godstow before returning alongside the Oxford Canal. The long route sets off south with the short route but continues south following Shakespeares Way and then the Oxford Green Belt Way as far as Abingdon Lock, before returning north following the Thames.
All Walk Oxford participants will be provided with a route map containing information on local history and all walkers will receive a medal and food at the end of the walk.

Walk Canterbury
New for 2024 the Canterbury Bike Ride weekend will include the Walk Canterbury event. Three routes, approximately 5, 12 & 16 miles long, will take in historic Canterbury and the Kent countryside.
All of the Walk Canterbury routes leave the rugby club and head for the City centre where walkers will be able to visit Canterbury Cathedral - the Mother Church of the worldwide Anglican Communion, seat of the Archbishop of Canterbury, UNESCO World Heritage Site, and resting place of royalty and saints. The short route heads back to the rugby club via St Augustine's Abbey. The medium route passes St Austine's and turns North East at St Martin's Church (completing the trio of Canterbury's UNESCO World Heritage sites), following the Stour Valley Way and Augustine Camino Way to Fordwich. From here the route heads south before picking up the Elham Valley Way and returning to the Rugby Club. The long route follows the same path but continues east at Fordwich along the Stour Valley Way as far as Stodmarsh, before heading south on Augustine Camino via Wickhambreaux, Littlebourne and Patrixbourne before picking up the Elham Valley Way and returning to the Rugby Club.
All of the Walk Canterbury participants will be provided with a route map containing information on local history and all walkers will receive a medal and food at the end of the walk.

Walk Westonbirt
New for 2024, following the success of our Walk Oxford event, we are launching Walk Westonbirt as an exciting addition to Bike Bath. Starting from Westonbirt School, you have a choice of two routes, either 7 or 12 miles exploring the beautiful Cotswold countryside.
The Walk Westonbirt shorter route heads west out of the school and through Westonbirt Arboretum, before heading south and picking up the Macmillan Way to just north of Sherston. Here the route turns north via Willesley before returning to Westonbirt School. The longer route leaves Westonbirt in the same direction, through the Arboretum before turning right / east onto the Macmillan Way. The Macmillan Way turns into Monarch's Way which takes the walkers as far as Tetbury before the route swings south. From here the route crosses the Cotswolds countryside before joining a short section of the Fosse Way and then heading west through Shipton Moyne and returning to Westonbirt School.
All Walk Westonbirt participants will be provided with a route map containing information on local history and all walkers will receive a medal and food at the end of the walk.
