Join us for Bike Aintree, a charity cycling event hosted by the University Hospitals Liverpool Charity, and ride parts of the Tour de France route planned for the Liverpool stage next year.
The event is an open-to-all, non-competitive bike ride experience that caters for all ages and abilities and covers a range of distances.
Foure great routes, approximately 35, 55, 78 and 89 miles will leave Aintree Racecourse and head north east into fantastic countryside of Merseyside and Lancashire with the long routes benefiting from spectacular views around Rivington Reservoir.
This year we are supporting the Aintree Major Trauma Centre, one of the busiest in the region, caring for thousands of people each year in the most critical circumstances.
Funds raised will help enhance patient, family and staff spaces, and provide vital support for staff wellbeing. Our team has responded with skill and resilience to recent major incidents including the Southport attack and the Liverpool FC parade, and your donations will help them continue to care for your loved ones, now and in the future.
On the day there will also be a fun health and wellbeing event at the raceourse from 12pm - 4pm featuring stalls and activities to improve mental health, general well being and active lifestyles. Merseyside Police will be offering bike marking and Active Sefton will be offering fun kids sporting activities. So there's guaranteed to be something for everyone!
As an entrant to Bike Aintree, you will benefit from:
A choice of four fully marked routes

The Liverpool University Hospitals Charity exists to support Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to enhance the experience of their patients and their families while they're in their care.
With NHS budgets at capacity, they fund anything over and above NHS budgets, across their sites at Aintree, The Royal and Broadgreen. This can include anything from the purchase of cutting edge equipment, funding pioneering medical research, supporting the health and wellbeing of their brilliant staff and creating a patient-friendly environment helping to make their patients, and their families, to feel welcome and at ease during their time in hospital.
